A very simple Budget Planning App that helps you to plan your budget in a better way by enabling you to create different types of Allocations for different needs.Current we support 3 types of Allocations, viz: Carry forward, Ignore & Manual.• Carry Forward: This type of Allocation would be very useful incase you want to carry forward the remaining budget from this month to the next.
This conveys the intention that you do not want to miss out on the amount allocated.
For example: Weekend parties.
Lets say that you couldnt plan a party this weekend, which means you will have more budget for the next weekend.
You can extend the same for other Allocations like Car maintenance, Groceries etc• Ignore: This type of Allocation would ignore any remaining budget in this month and start a fresh in the next month.
This would be useful for fixed type of expenses.
For example: House Rent, Bus Pass, EMI etc• Manual: This type of Allocation gives you the responsibility of adding budget as and when deemed necessary.
For example: Vacation funds, Savings etcEven though all the transactions are associated with an Account & an Allocation, sometimes you might want to look at the big picture, hence we created All Transactions screen, wherein you can check all the transactions in one place.
You can also filter & sort it to your needs.
As a bonus, you can also group the expenses by day/month, if you want to look at the aggregated expense/income for the day/month respectively.We also understand that you should be given an opportunity to help us decide what features needs to be developed next.
Hence we kept our Roadmap transparent to you, so that you can tell us what features you like and we will pick it up if others also feel the same.
